The Bureau of Cannabis Control requires all California Compliant testing to be sampled and transported to a laboratory before it is sold to consumers. PharmLabs San Diego has made it easy to schedule scientific sampling and transportation for California Compliance testing. We also offer pick up and transportation for Quality Assurance and Research Development tests for all cannabis and cannabis products.

The first thing you must know if your company intends to have Quality Assurance testing as well as California Compliance testing is that you will need two separate accounts.

Why, you ask?

All testing by licensed cannabis companies will be sent through the Seed to Sale tracking system to the state of California. This account will be where full California Compliance testing results are loaded, and given a PASS/FAIL grade. Remember, a harvest batch or cannabis product batch may only be remediated twice. If the batch fails after the second remediation attempt and second retesting, the entire batch will not be released for retail sail.

We know how important it is to research the development of your cannabis and cannabis products before they are in final form so ensure there are no contaminants present. Our Quality Assurance testing does not require a primary and duplicate sample, but will need an accurate representation of your batch for whichever tests you need.

Current regulations restrict laboratories from doing quality assurance testing on a licensee’s products under the licensee’s number. However we are able to offer our full range of services to accounts for patients or caregivers. An account under an individual’s name, not a company’s name, can test products, flower and trim with our full range of testing services. Accounts can be set up easily on our website.
